Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls
The Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls or Sin City Rollergirls (SCRG), is the local Las Vegas, Nevada roller derby team, and a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).〔(Sin-city website )〕 Roller Derby has been around for decades but uniformity was brought to flat track roller derby in 2004 with the creation of the United Leagues Coalition, now the WFTDA. Recently the sport has gained in popularity, likely in part through the 2009 film, ''Whip It''. The SCRG began as the Las Vegas Neanderdolls in 2005. It was started by coaches Ivanna S. Pankin, owner of the online derby store Sin City Skates, and Trish the Dish. Ivanna and Trish had played with the Arizona Roller Derby and finding no team in Las Vegas, created one. Shawna th'Dead was the first member of Neanderdolls. The Neanderdolls grew in membership and became a travel only team. Thereafter they changed to the SCRG.
As of April 2010, the SCRG consists of four home teams and a travel team. The four Las Vegas-themed home teams are the Tommy Gun Terrors, The Notorious VIP, Hoover Damned, and the Flying Aces. The SCRG is also assisted by generous support staff. The SCRG members consist of a diverse group of women ages 18–55 years old. The WFTDA found in its demographic survey that throughout its member leagues, 71% are between the ages of 21 and 44 years, and 91% have some form of post secondary education. The SCRG derby season runs from fall through the spring.

The Sin City Rollergirls league is composed of one travel team and four home teams: The All-Stars is the travel team, the Notorious VIP, the Tommy Gun Terrors, the Hoover Damned, and The Flying Aces are the home teams.
